iPhone App - AcheBreak helps remind desk jockeys, gamers, and kids, to take a Break from their daily Aches and pains.
One might think that by the year 2011, we wouldn't be spending so much time at our desks.
Even though we have iPads and mobile phones to liberate us from the constant sitting, many Americans still suffer from repetitive stress injuries (RSIs for short). RSIs are any kind of constant ache or pain that result from tasks like mashing keys for 8 hours a day or constantly texting.
Ironically the more mobile devices we use, the more we are at risk for repetitive stress injuries. Sitting in uniform position, causes strain to the neck, hands, and lower back. Thumbs aren’t designed for typing, this can lead to text message tendonitis, but we do it anyway, and suffer the consequences. So what are we doing to combat these technologically induced problems? Why, we're turning to technology of course!
